First Arabic Language Festival held in Holy Karbala

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, Dar-ol- Quran Center, affiliated to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, held its First Arabic Language Festival in the holy city of Karbala.
The festival was attended by a large number of religious figures, professors, researchers, intellectuals, and specialists in Arabic language field.
The participants asserted the importance of holding such festivals that aim at grasping the meaning of words and expressions mentioned in the holy Quran and traditional hadiths and clearing the language from loan words.
