Two dead, 10 injured as IED blast targets police vehicle in Quetta

At least two police officials were found dead and ten people including eight police officials were wounded as blast jolted Quetta city, reported Dunya News.

According to details, the main target of the attack was a police patrol vehicle on Sariab Road.

More than 10 officials of Rapid Response Force (RRF) were on their way for patrol from Qasim Line when their vehicle was targeted by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

Two of the policemen Muhammad Aslam and Ghulam Farooq died on the spot whereas the injured were immediately rushed to Civil and Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

The intensity of the blast was so severe that it broke the nearby buildings’ glasses while causing stampede in the nearby locals.
