Directors of the Islamic centers discuss with the National Reform Movement in Baghdad the arrest of the son of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi

A delegation of directors of the Islamic offices in Baghdad has visited the Office of the National Reform Movement. The delegation included office director of the al-Shirazi Movement, Ali al-Sarai, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center, Ahmed Awfi, and Director of Imam al-Hassan al-Zaki, peace be upon him, School and Husseineya.

 

 

A delegation of directors of the Islamic offices in Baghdad has visited the Office of the National Reform Movement. The delegation included office director of the al-Shirazi Movement, Ali al-Sarai, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center, Ahmed Awfi, and Director of Imam al-Hassan al-Zaki, peace be upon him, School and Husseineya.

The delegation discussed with the head of the political bureau in the office of the National Reform Movement, Dr. Ahmad Bahadli, the issue of the arrest of the Ayatollah Sayyid Hussein al-Shirazi by the Iranian authorities.

Al-Bahadli sent a special message to Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, in which he said: “you are in the stature of responsibility and representation of Iraqis, and I find it appropriate to have a position on the arrest of Ayatollah Sayyid Hussein al-Shirazi, son of the well-known Grand Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirzi, may Allah prolong his life.

In the text of the letter, al-Bahadli detailed the arrest of Ayatollah Sayyid Hussein al-Shirazi in the clerical court in the holy city of Qom and called on the foreign minister to intervene to release the son of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.
