Violent extremists belonging to outlawed outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba (ASWJ) attacked an azadari procession of Muharram in Ratto Dero town of Larkana, Pakistan but police have not yet taken action against the attackers.

Many Shia mourners were injured in the attack on mourning procession but police seems to be siding with the perpetrators by inaction against them.

Ratto Dero is hometown of Mumtaz Bhutto and his son Amir Bux Bhutto who had joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Ratto Dero is not much farther from Nau Dero, the hometown of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

Bilawal’s Pakistan People’s Party rules Sindh province where as Mumtaz Bhutto’s PTI is the ruling party of entire Pakistan but it is very much unfortunate that these politicians have failed to create unity and love among people of their home district.

People need actions against terrorists and fanatics instead of lip-service or demagoguery. Both Bhuttos should play their role for ensuring that culprits who attacked matami juloos (mourning procession) are punished in accordance with law. Action should also be taken against delinquent police cops.
