Iraqi forces ready to tackle remaining Daesh elements in Syria: Commander

A commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Shaabi) said the forces are prepared to enter Syria to put an end to the presence of remaining Daesh elements there.

 

A commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Shaabi) said the forces are prepared to enter Syria to put an end to the presence of remaining Daesh elements there.

Qassem Muslih said Baghdad and Damascus have coordinated the presence of Iraqi forces in Syria to tackle Daesh.

He further slammed the US forces in Syria for their espionage activities along the Iraq-Syria border.

Muslih said the American forces are gathering intel to help Daesh attack Iraqi forces.
