A Quran contest is underway in Yemen’s Sa’ada for children of those martyred in the Saudi-led war on the country.

The contest, organized to mark the holy month of Ramadan, began on Monday and will run until the end of the holy month, according to al-Masira news website.

The Sa’ada Radio channel has organized the Quranic event with the aim of honoring the martyrs and serving their children.

Sa’ada is a city in the Sa’ada governorate in northwest Yemen.

Quranic activities in Yemen are common even in the midst of an ongoing Saudi-led aggression that has killed thousands of Yemenis.
