Quran attributed to Imam Ali on display in Hyderabad

Among the items on display in a Quran exhibition mounted in the city of Hyderabad, India, are two rare manuscript copies of the Quran.

One of the copies is attributed to Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and the other to Imam Hassan, peace be upon him.

The two Quran manuscripts are in Kufic script and date back to the early years after the advent of Islam.

Quranic scholars organized a seminar featuring discussions on interpretation of the Holy Quran.
