Mourning ceremonies are being held at Islamic centers, Husseiniyahs and houses of the lovers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them. 

The biography of the great Imam as well as his hardships are remembered in the ceremonies. 

A special mourning ceremony was held at the house of the Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, at his honorable house in Qom, Iran.
