Mourning ceremonies are being held in Husseiniyahs, Islamic centers and houses of Ahlulbayt followers, peace be upon them, where the blessed biography of the Imam and the sorrowful tragedy of his martyrdom are remembered. 

Imam Musa al-Kadhum is the seventh Imam and the father of Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him.
