A report by the New Arab newspaper revealed, on Thursday, that 100,000 Iraqis have been killed as a result of terrorist operations carried out by Saudi suicide bombers in Iraq since 2003, confirming the presence of a large parliamentary mobilization to open this file.

The report said that the Iraqi political forces have been conducting a broad movement for days aimed at mobilizing the Parliament to open the file of suicide bombers of Saudi nationality, who came to Iraq after 2003, and carried out operations that caused the deaths of Iraqis.

The newspaper added that this move will be followed by another procedure to move this file internationally, in order to compel Riyadh to pay financial compensation to the families of the Iraqi victims.

The report quoted the leader Saad al-Muttalabi as saying that the main political forces in the country, as well as the government, should start with a step that takes the rights of about 100,000 Iraqis killed by terrorist operations, and hold accountable the countries from where the terrorists came to Iraq, the first of which is Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, legal expert Tariq Harb notes that, from a legal point of view, Iraq can move to the UN Security Council to issue a resolution giving it the right to receive compensation from Saudi Arabia.
