Islamic foundations and Shia channels say Sheikh Nimr’s execution clear targeting to all Shia Muslims

 Many Islamic institutions and Shia channels condemned the death penalty of independent Saudi cleric Nimr Baqir Al-Nimr, describing the sentence as a clear targeting to all Shia Muslims in the Islamic world.

 

Imam Shirazi World Foundation, based in Washington, DC., al-Naba’ Foundation, and Imam Hussein Broadcasting Group strongly condemned the sectarian Saudi escalation represented by its execution sentence to Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, regarding it as disrespect and a clear targeting to all Shia Muslims from inside and outside the Saudi kingdom.
