UN: 1,792 Iraqis killed, 1,358 injured in October 2016

The number of Iraqi civilians killed in October was 1,120 and the number of civilians injured was 1,005.

 

 

The number of Iraqi civilians killed in October was 1,120 and the number of civilians injured was 1,005.

A total of 672 members of the Iraqi Security Forces and PMU were killed and 353 others were injured. 

Baghdad was the worst affected Governorate with 1,075 civilian casualties. 566 killed and 59 injured in Nineveh, 58 killed and 112 injured in Kirkuk, 16 killed and 2 injured in Salahuddin, and Diyala, 4 killed and 2 injured.
