Thousands of Indonesians held a prayer protest on Friday against the Christian governor of Jakarta, the nation’s capital, who is accused of blasphemy, the Jakarta Globe reported.

The National police confirmed it had arrested ten people ahead of the Jakarta protest on allegations they had been plotting to attack or defame national leaders, the Jakarta Post reported.
