Quranic course for children underway in Norway

A series of Quranic classes has been held for children by Hussaini Association in the Capital of Norway, Oslo. 

 

According to reports, the prayers’ leader of the association said that the students learn to read the Holy Quran’s verses and get acquainted with Tajweed principles during the daily course.

He added that preachers of the association also travel to other cities of Norway, particularly the small towns near Oslo on Saturdays and Sundays in order to teach the Holy Quran to the people in these regions.

Islam is the second largest religion in Norway after various forms of Christianity, with Muslims representing 2.4% of the population according to official data.
