The German capital Berlin is preparing to host a specialized symposium to study racism and discrimination against Muslims under the title “Flee, Migration and Homeland; Muslims and Germany” on October 1-2.

The symposium, organized by Insan Association at its headquarters, aims to promote the participation of Muslim youth in social activities and support the level of awareness among Muslims and non-Muslims in order to support peaceful coexistence.

The symposium will focus on discrimination against Muslims and racism in German-speaking countries, and create space to discuss the role of civil society and academic groups in combating discrimination, community empowerment and solidarity with Muslims in Germany.

It will also discuss the role of the extreme right in spreading Islamophobia and racism against Muslims in German society.
