Afghanistan: 25 Taliban terrorists killed

The Ministry stated that at least 14 Taliban militants were killed in an air strike in the Shahr al-Safa area in Zabul, and the army was also able to destroy weapons and explosives belonging to the terrorist movement.

In another attack by the Afghan army in Trenkot, the administrative center of Uruzgan province, 11 Taliban members, including prominent leader Muhammad Akbar Naqi, were killed.

The Afghan Ministry indicated that the operation started in Trenkot, and was carried out with the support of the Special Forces, during which government forces took control of four Taliban strongholds and seized a quantity of weapons and some vehicles.
