The state health care authority said that churches, mosques and other places of worship, in addition to shops, can open their doors, provided that they are committed to not exceeding 25% of their capacity.

All facilities will have to ensure social separation, provide sterilization methods and adhere to other precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The authorities will review the conditions imposed 21 days after the reopening of places of worship and shops.

It is noteworthy that the state of California recorded 94,558 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and 3,795 deaths as of Monday.
